Why can't I register for an account?

In order to maintain a high quality experience on SweetRing, we have a basic requirement for newly registered users. First, you must be at least 18 years old and have a Facebook account with more than 10 friends. Second, your relationship status must be set to single. Please confirm that you meet these requirements before registering. If you have any questions regarding registration, please feel free to contact customer service.

I already have an account. Why can't I sign in?

First, please confirm that your mobile device is connected to the Internet, and check whether you have authorized SweetRing to access your Facebook account. Also, please update our app to the latest version to ensure you will receive the optimal user experience. If you have any other questions regarding signing in, please feel free to contact our customer service.

What can I do with points?

Points can be used to send Quick Hellos and unlock other features.

What features can I gain access to with a VIP subscription?

If you are a guy, a VIP subscription will give you access to the chat feature. Also, apart from a monthly Boost, the number of likes that you receive every time will increase substantially.

How can I gain access to unlimited chats?

Non-VIP members need to purchase a VIP subscription to gain access to unlimited chats.

Why did my chat disappear?

1. Please make sure you didn't accidentally block the person.
2. The user deactivated the account.
3. The user was reported and suspended temporarily due to an ongoing review. Once we make sure the account is safe, the chat will be available again.

Why did my message not send properly?

If an exclamation mark icon appears after you send a message, your message was not sent properly. Please confirm that your phone is connected to the Internet and tap on the unsent message to choose to either resend the message or delete the message.

How do I cancel my VIP subscription?

1.Go to Android Google Play App (play store) and open it

2.Click [≡] on the top left-hand side of the search field

3.Scroll down the drop-down menu, find "My Account" and click it

4.Enter "My Account" and click "Subscription"

5.At the SweetRing subscription field, click "unsubscribe" to obtain a refund.

  • IOS:

1.Go to "Settings" → "iTunes and App Store."

2.Click Apple ID → "View Apple ID" (a window will pop up and ask you to re-enter your APPLE ID, password).

3."Subscription" → "Management" → Check your subscribed renewal services.

4.Click on the subscription you want to manage (the bottom "Automatic Updates" button will switch from blue to white to close "Automatic Updates". Your subscription will cease at the end of the current billing cycle).

Can I still use SweetRing if I don't have a Facebook account?

No, Facebook is necessary for data accuracy and security. We use Facebook to prevent fake accounts and spam so that we provide the optimal experience for our members.

Please download the SweetRing app, and then sign into your Facebook account on your mobile device to begin using SweetRing.

How do I switch Facebook accounts on a iOS device?

If you are using iOS 9.0 or higher version, switching accounts on Facebook app will not affect the login status for SweetRing. Please switch your Facebook account via Safari.

Setting up your profile
Do I need to complete all personal information items?

Preferences and personal information you provide to SweetRing are designed to make it easier for other users to match with you. Please ensure that the information you provide is as complete as possible, so that other users can browse your profile, search for matches, or send Quick Hellos more easily.

Can I change my personal information?

All personal information can be edited in the profile settings page except age. If you would like to correct your age information, please go to Facebook "Edit basic info" and update the information. Your information in SweetRing will be synced in three days.

My age is not displayed correctly.

Please check your birthdate and other relevant information on Facebook. After editing, log in on SweetRing again and your information will be displayed correctly. If you have any other questions regarding the displayed information, please feel free to contact our customer service.

Why was my personal introduction not approved?

Please confirm your self-introduction again. If it contains inappropriate content, contact information, or any external links, it will not be approved by our team and will be deleted.

Why was my picture removed?

Please provide a clear portrait of yourself as your profile picture. Do not upload any inappropriate photos(including photos with other people/opposite sex), or they will be removed.

My profile picture failed to upload!

Please make sure you have a stable cellcular connection or sync a photo from your Facebook albums.

How many photos can be displayed on my personal profile?

Currently, a maximum of 5 photos can be uploaded to your personal profile.

Why do my search results says "No users match your current search setting!"?

Please broaden your search settings in order to find more potential matches.

How can I get more matches?

Set up Like Greetings, sending a Quick Hello, or asking/answering more questions are all great ways of improving your reach and thereby improving your chances of finding a match. Also, don't be shy!

What do I do if I use up all of my likes?

Please be patient as SweetRing will send you more likes to you after 12 hours. You can also purchase the VIP plan for more likes.

Do I have to pay for sending a Quick Hello?

We will provide one free Quick Hello per day. If you need more, you can exchange a Quick Hello for 300 points.

VIP and premium features
I'd like to upgrade my account. How do I purchase a VIP subscription?

Enter the "Other" page and click on the "Premium" option. Then select the plan that you wish to subscribe to. You also need to enter payment information for iTunes and Google Play beforehand in order to make a payment.

What should I do if my account wasn't upgraded to a VIP account or if I did not receive points after payment?

First, please check whether your credit card has been successfully charged. If so, login again and visit the same page where you purchased the product (Do not make another purchase ). The app will automatically resend the information while you stay on the page. If a similar situation occurs again or if you encounter a billing error, please send your invoice number or invoice screenshot to our customer service.

What is a like? What does it do?

Likes are the number of times you can press the heart in the "Like him/her" feature to show your interest. The system will give you a certain number of Likes when you first sign in. If you use them all, please wait for 12 hours, at which point we will send you more likes.

Match and chat
How can I gain access to unlimited chats?

Non-VIP members need to purchase a VIP subscription to gain access to unlimited chats.

How do I add my chat to my favorites?

Please go to the page of the chat you would like to add to your favorites and press the menu button in the top right. Then select "favorites" to add the chat to your favorites.

How do I delete my chat record?

Please go to the page of the chat you would like to delete and press the menu in the top right. Then select "delete chat record" to delete any record of the chat.

How do I delete my chat?

Please press the button in the top right of you chat list. Then select "remove the chat" and choose the user(s) you'd like to delete. Then press the delete button on the bottom right to delete those chats.

How do I delete any chats with my matches?

Deleting a match is currently not supported. If you do not wish to receive any messages from that user, you can block the user.

Someone is harassing me. What should I do?

We are very sorry about your situation. Please go to the chat screen with the user and tap on the upper right menu. Then, select "block" in order to stop receiving any information from the user.

Can I unblock someone after blocking them?

Please go to Settings and select "Blocked users" in order to view the users that you have added to your block list. If you would like to unblock a user, simply press the "unblock" button on the right.

Why did my message not send properly?

How long do I have to wait after submitting a custom question?

After receiving your custom question, it will be reviewed manually. The review period lasts three business days.

Why did my custom question disappear?

If your custom question violates our use policy, infringes on others' copyright, includes external links, personal contact information, advertisements, or any other content in violation of our policies, it will be removed.

I have already asked a public question today. Can I ask more?

You can only ask one public question per day. You can use the Quick Hello and Like Greets or answer other users' questions in order to demonstrate your interests.

My questions page does not show any questions!

Please broaden your search settings in the question page in order to find more results.

How many questions can I answer a day?

There is currently no limit to the number of questions you can answer. Be sure to make good use of that!

Others
If I want to temporarily stop using SweetRing, what should I do?

Please head to the "other" page and locate the "settings" option. Then, turn on "deactivate my account" in order to deactivate your account. After deactivating your account, you will be automatically logged out.

How do I turn notifications on or off?

Please head to the "Other" page and locate the "Settings" page. Then, select the type of notifications for which you would like to adjust your settings and turn it on or off. We strongly recommend that you turn on the notifications feature in order to receive up-to-date matches or chat notifications.
